Kizz Daniel has finally explained the meaning of ‘Buga’, his new hit track in a recent interview.
The song which is making giant strides across all digital streaming platforms recently became the most shazammed song in the world.
The song’s title has been the subject of debate ever since its release as many claims it denotes arrogance and ingratitude. However speaking on Sunday Scoop recently, the Afrobeat singer provided a clearer understanding of the term.

According to the singer, ‘Buga’ means to ‘show off’ celebration after hard work, dedication and success. He thinks that one should let the results of his/her hard work speak loudly, that’s where the song comes to play.
In other Nigerian entertainment news, Wizkid has somewhat taken notice of what the fans say ‘behind his back’ as they tease him for always using the phrase, ‘she tells me to say’ in almost all his songs.

The Afrobeats superstar has suggested he’ll reuse the popular catchphrase in his forthcoming album titled More Love Less Ego.
Wizkid made this known when a fan pleaded with him to introduce the words on the project. A fan took to his Instagram story and wrote; ”Pls sprinkle some ”she tell me to say” to the album.”
In response, Wiz simply wrote; ”Bet”
